Custom & Made-to-Order Items: All sales are 100% final on handcrafted, limited, custom, or made-to-order garments (including 1-of-1 and patchwork pieces). Once purchased and order placed, custom orders cannot be canceled, refunded, exchanged, or returned under any circumstances.
Custom Pieces: For customs, sourcing and shipping timelines vary heavily depending on product complexity and material availability, therefore expect a 4 week turn around but also keep in mind this is a custom. There are no exact delivery dates are guaranteed due to the nature of these products. We carefully create your custom pieces, and provide the best without a rush in completion time out of respect for our work. Once invoice is paid and order is confirmed, ther are no refunds under any circumstances.
Pre-Manufactured Retail Items: For non-custom and 1 of 1 patchwork pieces that exclusively state on hand, returns or refunds may be reviewed exclusively in rare circumstances involving verified manufacturing defects. To be eligible for a review, the issue must be reported to bylawstudios@gmail.com within 48 hours of physical delivery. If a return is officially approved, the physical item must be shipped back to us within 14 days, paid by customer and the refund will process within 5–7 business days.
Damaged or Incorrect Items: Every order undergoes strict quality control prior to shipment. For Pre Manufactured retailed items, In the rare event that a standard retail item arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photographic proof of the packaging and product condition. For customs, 1 of 1s or patchwork pieces, please note, these pieces are individually altered by hand. No two items are identical. These variations are not defects and constitute the design essence and intended aesthetic value of the garment in the name of Wabi-Sabi. We strictly do not evaluate, accept, or honor damage or defect claims for any patchwork pieces that have been delivered, not been delivered or physically accepted by the recipient.
Fraudulent or Abusive Activity: BY L.A.W. reserves the right to flag, restrict, or permanently ban any account engaging in predatory commercial behavior. This includes filing excessive or unwarranted chargebacks, making false or contradictory claims to financial institutions, or abusing our communication channels such behavior compromises the integrity of our brand, constitutes contractual fraud, and will be met with immediate legal restriction and termination of service.
